In entirely unrelated news to the Craft Culture Summer Tour that has completely eated my brains lately, I just heard from Sue at the Critter Ranch about our Momma Llama Eboney! Eboney still has not given birth yet but the vet will be out later this week to check on her and the wee bebeh llama to make sure all is well. Eboney did get her hair cut this week so I’ll be drawing a winner for her fleece shortly from the people who donated towards adopting her.
A word about the fleece; Sue asked me to remind people that the fleece is raw. It’s not been processed at all. It has been cleaned and cleared (mostly, as much as possible) of veggie matter but it will still need to be processed before it’s able to be spun. So, if you donated to the Eboney Adoption Fund but do not want to be entered to win the fleece please let me know so I can only draw from the names that would like to win.

Thus far fund raising is going pretty well for only a day or two into it. The sooner we reach the goal though the sooner I can focus on what wonderful events we’ll be having in each city, digging up famous knitters to speak with and other fun and fabulousness to bring you guys from the road.
