I take issue with their calling it 'smooshy' thats all. I think it's a perfectly passable yarn and I actually don't mind knitting with it, but I bought it expecting a really lofty smooshy yarn and it's not really either of those things. I also found that it had a lot of bleed in the color when I soaked my finished project and even the next 2-3 washes after that. What started out as a really rich maroon ended up sort of pinkish. I know red is a hard color to set, but I guess I expect more from a big company like they are. Again, it's a fine yarn just not my favorite by far. Glad you like the podcast so far and thanks for asking a question I could actually answer! :)

Hey, I'm loving your podcasts! I'm curious though, why don't you like DiC Smooshy (re: comment in the show)? I have a skein but haven't ever knit with it before, so I'm just curious. Keep up the good work!
